Advocacy & support

WE PROVIDE A CULTURALLY SENSITIVE SUPPORT PACKAGE. TEAM TALO PRIDES ITSELF TO BE FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL AND FLEXIBLE.

We work together with our service-users to reach their desirable outcomes. Referrals are welcome both by individuals (self-referrals) and agencies, to find out more head over to our Contact us page. We offer information and support on a range of areas such as:

Our provision is a holistic service that supports individuals with a range of everyday societal issues. Team TALO will work with you to achieve your preferred outcome. We believe in a warm welcome; we set clear expectations and provide a professional service. The advocacy element ensures marginalised voices are heard by amplifying their voices in matters that affects them and the community.

Play & Youth

WE ORGANISE HOLIDAY AND WEEKLY SESSIONS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES TO ATTEND AND ENJOY.

Team TALO delivers a range of enriching and stimulating activities and events throughout the year.

We’ve organised one of the biggest Eid festivals in the South West of England attended by over a thousand people. Other trips and outings delivered include:

  • Legoland
  • Weymouth and Bournemouth Beach
  • Residential camps
  • Bike rides to Warmley
  • Boxing sessions
  • West Midland Safari Park

We work with families as a unit when it comes to play so they can engage together and spend quality time with their children whilst trying new activities. TALO community also provides weekly clubs and activities for children and young people to take part in. This enables them to come together and equip them with social skills in addition to physical benefits. Feedback is key and our activities are updated and improved regularly to reflect this.
